Default Blob eye bumper on Bug eye?

Hello folks, Im new here so first of all, Hello. Im about to get a WRX 51 reg that needs a new rear bumper. Does anyone know if the later model bumper from a 54 plate will go straight on to a 51 plate?

Cheers

MD

It will fit, but the lights will not look good - the blob lights have round bit at the bottom and stick out further than the bug lights so it will just not look right

Yes they will, but they come at a premium - swapping both is a straightforward upgrade, but the blob lights can often cost up to £150 a set

Blob lights will go with a bug bumper but not the other way around - check out the trader area in here - there's a few breakers who should be able to sort you out

Looks like I got a bargin off of eBay then, a pair of blobeye rear lights posted for £75

How far do yours stick out Jon, as mine seem to stick out a fair bit?

I only paid £80 but I bought L&R from 2 different people who clearly didn't know the value - only stick out the width of the plastic behind the curve if you get my drift - 1cm or so
