Default Colour-coded HEADLIGHTS?

I'm going the retrofit projector route.
I'm just thinking, when I split my lights to fit the projectors, waht would it look like if I spray the bits INSIDE the lights that aren't reflector, the same colour as my car, 559 Bright Red?

My eldest used to have an Ibiza with headlights like that and they looked amazing.........

Any comments? Preferably polite ones

If I'm honest I think it'll look cheap and nasty. Stick to black imo

Hey Darms, long time no hear.

Are yours sprayed balck all over the reflector?

I weas going to leave my reflectors silver and just spray the bits that are black now.

Hey bud....... yeah I know.

I sanded my reflector down to remove the chrome finish, primed and sprayed with high temp paint initially but they turned out grey rather than jet black

Sprayed them again with just normal satin black....... came out a treat

So when are your projectors arriving?

ha! When I can afford to pay for them, which will probably be April. Going for the Morimoto Minis in D2S, you still have to split the lights, but no cutting. Plus the shrouds just clip on now too.
