i have a front bumper off a 53 wrx (blob eye) and im looking to get some fog light covers, im told that the genuine sti covers will not fit into the bumper? is this correct? if they dont are there after market options available? help

AFAIK, it's the same bumper, isn't it? Maybe the covers don't fit over the lights?

well according to my local subaru dealer they are different bumpers! the sti has a different shape hole for the fogs and a captive nut that the covers screw into? i just want to cover up the fogs as i dont have any and the cost of replacing missing lamps and surrounds is alot more than simply covering them up! or not if i cant get covers to fit them without having an sti bumper! lol

I,ve just fitted some sti covers to my wrx. YES they do fit even with the lights in place, just pop the fog light surround out and put the covers in.
