Default Loose rear spoiler

Hi. I own a 2004 STI and the bad weather seems to have loosened the rear spoiler. I’ve taken a socket set to it but there appears to be 2 nuts closest to the rear window that will not tighten. Is there a special technique to doing this? I thought I would ask on here 1st before I take the whole spoiler off to see how it’s held together. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Won't tighten? As in just keep turning?

The spoilers have captive nuts in them, it may be that those are loose.
And there's no real way to repair them.

You could seat it on a layer of Sikaflex?

Yeah they just kept turning.

I think I'm just going to take it off and see what I can do with it.
