Post classic front grill

can anyone remind me how the grill between the headlights is supposed to fit on my 1998 classic? There are two bits of plastic on the bottom of it one either end which i take are supposed to slot down into holes in the bumper but there isnt any. (I have changed the bumper but only to another standard one)

Its been over a year since it all came apart and is a bit hectic remembering where everything goes.

Thanks.

the two lugs on the bottom go into corresponding holes in the headlamp barckets bud. Then two clips on the back go into the slam panel holes.

As above. Worth taking off the upper clips from the grille and gently bending the tangs back upwards, they have an annoying habit of sticking down leading to a loose grille

Me too: mine has been off the road since August, and away since November.

SHOULD have it back to run in mid-May though, all being well..........

I know whats its like lol this is my first major project and i had no idea it would be so complicated and what with being new to jap i bought so much stuff that wasnt right for my built e.g wrong turbo, wrong cylinder heads! what a nightmare!!

And just to finish it off i wont even be able to run my tire smoking 400BHP as im only running an original gearbox. Hence why that would probably be the next stage if i ever get the thing on the road (insurance is my killer £3600)
