Question fitting sti 7 scoop to wrx help and advise

I hav eno doubt a million people have asked this. but i want to fit the bigger sti scoop to my wrx bugeye 2001.

I only want genuine looking one, no later blob lookilikes.
Now .... if im lucky enough to find one, do i NEED the undertray or will it bolt straight onto mine ?
Wahts with the sti undertray anyway, water injectors ???

The scoop will swap over easily.

Only change the undertray if you are also fitting an STi intercooler.
If keeping your WRX intercooler do not change the undertray.

Both undertrays have a rubber seal that seals the bonnet with the intercooler. If you mix and match, the seal no longer works properly and the intercooler will loose air round about it.

scoop is a direct replacement for the wrx one (ive done mine) you dont need the undertray as above unless you change in TMIC
