Default 'Fly-Eye' Lense Film Anyone?

Just applied this, instead of LaminX. Like fitting speaker grilles to the headlights

Can't tell how much the light output has been reduced - certainly nothing significant. As I mostly drive on unlit A & B roads, I would have determined any problem by now. Okay it does help running Philips Xtreme bulbs, but still decent enough output. Noticed that close up it gives an interesting pattern to the edge of the light beam - but this does not effect road illumination.
