Default First time repaint

Hi guys,

Following a recent front end collision following years of stone chips I need to repair some cracks in my bumper, the bumper mounting points on the front and rear wings have rusted away, there are small but deep stone gouges out of the bonnet down to primer and the front grille is cracked.

I need advice on what to do at the lowest cost for a relatively good finish. If I choose to repair weld the wings, will I be able to repaint with a good finish using a spray can from the auto shop? If so how do I do it?

What about repairing the cracks in the bumper and grille, priming, painting and applying a protective paint chip finish?

how do I do a good finish on the bodywork? Do I also apply lacquer etc and should I blend edges or spray the hole panel?

Thanks!
