Default Blobeye front bumper question

Wont be long until I'm getting my splitter painted and fitted which is great I cant wait
However it leaves me with a slight problem re: my zunsport lower grill. The splitter has a lip that goes over the bottom of the existing bumper and gets bonded on, meaning that the lower gap that the grill is designed to fit will now be smaller (see blue arrow) and I'm assuming the grill wont fit

If it doesn't fit, I'm wondering whether the black plastic bit (excuse my technical terminology!) behind the numberplate (as you look at the bumper from the front) could be cut to make the extra gap see (red arrow)

Need some advice please!

It can be cut, and a lot of people in the states cut it out completely... hope that helps.

Don't cut the splitter, as you could give me the grill and i would be happy
