Default bug-eye halos

hi peeps,anyone purchased or have opinions/knowledge on bug-eye headlight conversions seen on fleabay from america.theyre described as halos (bmw!).they dont come with e-marks,are manually adjustable but im unsure what the quality will be like.at £110 plus£20 p&p they could be pants.wot you say??im not that bothered if i dont convert as ive de-tangoed my existing lights which made a huge differance.i would like some wrc spec but i have two kids and a wife to feed

I had "angel eye" aftermarket headlights on my old Corsa C. They looked pretty damn decent to be fair, but the light output was HORRIFIC! Even when properly aligned and with uprated bulbs. I'd only imagine these would be similar.

I'm working on a little "project" regarding bugeye headlights at the moment. Check out the Members Gallery section in the next week or two...

i believe the light they give off is rubbish

As HT states they are a wee bit pants, but a good base to modify, and can take HiD's which means half the outlay to Hi/Lo H4's.
That's why I bought a set. Most aftermarket lights are suspect quality, but hey they're great for tweaking - just swap back for MOT time. I'm also working on replacing the halo tubes in the 'Sonar' jobbies for proper CCFL's - can't beat the pure crisp brightness.

apparently these dont last long. leds for angels blow. you get condensation in headlight plus they dont adjust...

Really i wouldnt bother i have a pair on mine which can when i bought the car and they are rubbish they leak water in and just in the process of getting some morrette lights cant wait.....
