Default SUNSTRIP

I`m fitting a sunstrip on my 53 reg wrx, do you put soapy water on glass 1st, and same 4 lettering. thanks

Are you aware that if it covers any part of the screen swept by the wipers, it's an automatic MoT fail?

Mate used to do Mot's said it's any part.

I use a spray bottle with water and a small squirt of washing up liquid to fit sunstrips. Make sure the strip is dry before trying to fit the letters.

I think Mot failure depends on your inspector as I've had sunstrips on all my cars for about 10 years and never failed one yet. Never had a copper question them either. Think it all depends on how far you come down the screen. Mine is about 4" deep in the middle of the screen.

My sunstrip is a strip of fairly dark window tint on the inside and SUBARU across the top in yellow vinyl on the outside courtesy of Sticky WYIOC

Never had any problem with MOT's but then my car passes with no cat as well
