Smile Face Lift for a V3 Classic 96 Sti - What do I need?

Hi all,

I have a 1996 Wagon Sti V3 and wanted to give it a facelift to the later model, the one that was produced around 2000?

The one I've seen is this:

What do I need to get my front end like this? From a post I read the above Wagon has used a new bumper and grill from a 2000 Impreza and a splitter from a V6. Is this the bumper that came on the turbo 2000 UK model and is there any difference between this and the import model?

I just need to know what will work and what won't, I guess there are no differences between Wagons and Saloons front end wise? If I can avoid changing things like bonnets and headlights then I would rather follow this route, just prefer the shape of the newer ones a lot more modern!

Does anyone know what wheels they are in the picture also?

Thanks for any help

if your facelifting a 96' v3 sti your going to need...
facelift bonnet
facelift grill
facelift bumper
cyrstal headlights+sidelights
facelift fog covers
99' p1 splitter
thats the parts needed to make a 96' v3 look like the wagon in the picture.
lol hope this helps.

Spot on bar the P1 splitter bit, thats a V6 splitter but for what its worth i reckon the P1 splitter would look uber cool

Thanks for the reply

If I didn't want to do quite as much, say only the bumper/splitter and grill will these work with my current headlights and bonnet? I don't mind the bonnet and lights being the same as they are now it's the 99 spec front bumper/splitter/grill that I like as long as it will work!

Cheers

The sti 3 is already facelifted so has the correct bonnet and headlights (frosted instead of crystal). So you need to changed the grille, front bumper and add the splitter
