How much should i expect to pay to have my sideskirts sprayed on my wrx?? ive been quoted £400 think thats a bit expensive to be honest??

 

im a panel beater painter. i painted my side skirts up.

they need 2 coats of 2k primer, 1000 wet flat between each coat, then colour and laquer

if i was doing that job on the side out of work id prob charge £135 ish depending if they need much prep work

£20 primer
£10 sanding discs etc
£35 paint, thats 3 10ths of a liter or 300ml
£20 laquer and hardner

so id pocket £50 for my time

Got all mine done inc rears for £150, but it was me took 'em off/refitted 'em

 

mje wrx is spot on, thats what i would have charged

 

i wouldnt pay anymore than 100 for a cash in hand job mate .

 

thats what i would charge if they where of the car,(classic side and rear)

20 notes for paint 1/2 litre and the rest i buy in bulk
1/4 litre is 17 notes so i pay the extra for stock.

 

Collected mine yesterday after removing them myself cost £150 cash. Thing is the colour is to light..... knew i should of done it myself

Frount bumper has got a rash where the previous owner tailgated alot so its pritty bad and the bonnet has got a few as well... and top of the car got small dents cause he lived under a tree -.-
