Default Mud Guard and Wheel arch liner

Hey guys

Just picked up a new mud guard (one with the brake vent on) as my car has always been missing them. Went to fit it and it wont go on!!! Is it because i have a MY96 car with a face lift bumper on, do i need to order a newer one?

Thanks
Wayne

Does it fit though. You could drill one or two holes in the bumper to help fit it if thats the only problem. I know the lads that did front face lifts never had a problem lining up the older one with the new bumper so I imagine it would be the same the other way round.
