Roof Scoop

Hi guys !! can anyone tell me , how risky it is to drill the roof of my car to fit a nice roof scoop ? thanks !! do you have any other solutions about it ?

I just stuck mine on with windscreen bonding mastic!!! stayed put for 3 months so far!!! wouldn't mess the roof up for a cosmetic one,if that's all it is???
