Default rally graphics

if you get a rally style sticker kit on a car can you add the numbers on the side of the doors
or do you need them crossed out for them to be legal to run on the road

something like these

Yes you do need them crossed out to be legal, just another excuse to get pulled TBH !

sorry what reason do they need to be crossed out. i was under the impression that it had nothing to do with the road laws. but more to do with rally and competition rules where you cannot travel between stages with the numbers and could face penalty in competition??

im sure it's perfectly legeal to have them on the road, christ theres buses round my way with huge adverts for strip clubs, vans with 24/7 on side etc.

You can have them on your car while competing on an event, but have to remove/cross them out as soon as you finish/retire.
Having them on the road suggests you may be taking part in an organised event which is the problem - i think.

Hi mate

Mine is stickered up very simular to one in your image with number 7 on doors and roof and never had a problem with law, I remember a couple of years ago when i lived in Blackpool i nearly ended up in North West Rally due to stickers! I was driving along prom with traffic heading north at same time rally cars were travelling between stages, police were seperating normal traffic with rally traffic, Was sending me down rally route until he saw kids in car!

Other than that never had a problem,
