Bodyshop to fit a High Spoiler
Anyone recomend a Body Shop to fit a High Level spolier to my WRX 2003.
I really do want to fit one but have this worry that I will give it to a body shop to get done and will end up with water leaks in the boot.
Anywhere in Kent, Essex way. Some where that you know are good and have fitted them before.
Cheers

hello mate i can do it for you but im in skegness. your best bet is to got to some local bodyshops ask for prices but only use that as a reson to have a look around.
you can normaly tell what a bodyshop is like by looking at the cars thay are working on the state of the shop the equipment thay have around. go with your gut feeling if there ignorant and just want your money and arnt willing to talk then there less lickly to care about the job just the cash at the end.
a good freindly chap at the counter and a nice shop and you cant go far rong.

just to fit no more than 2hours to do it properly £70
to paint the spoiler should be around £130
thats based on it being mattalic and i use water so is a bit more expensive.
job lot around £200 id be a bit worrid if anyone quotes to much cheeper that thay wont spend the time on it but it would be around £20 - £30 cheeper if thay use solvent.
hope this is of help mate

XR-Wayne - I've just fitted a high level spoiler (finshed today) on my 05 WRX as supplied by DRMotorsport. There have been mixed reviews about these spoilers and personally i am pleased with it. I am very fussy, but i think for the money they are a good buy.
Although i was also tempted to get it fitted by a bodyshop, i thought i would tackle it myself first. I took my time and with using some of the parts from the old spoiler and some rubber washers i think i have a good secure water tight fit. Best bit is no extra holes were used as it uses the original 4 WRX holes.
I'm only in Essex, so if you wanted to see it before purchasing and some guidance / help on fitting, please just PM me.
