Default Grill confusion, pls help!

Hi Peeps

I am looking for a debadged front grill for my UK MY98 but the 96/97/98 cross over is making it a bit confusing as to which is suitable - well it is for me anyway but hopefully you can help me decide

What I want to avoid is ending up with some ill fitting crock that doesnt sit next to the lights properly!

My car

Storm
This looks OK but is 93-97(bottom of page under aerodynamics)
http://www.stormmotorsport.co.uk/index2.asp?w=1024
£99.99 unpainted

But I emailed Storm and they have one for later cars (97-00) that looks like this

TSL have one for 93-00
TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK
£? unpainted

And DRM 93-96
Front Grill
£100 painted

They all look much of a muchness and the DRM is attractive as its the same price as the others but painted. However 93-96, will it fit?

As an aside I am thinking of going for the 22B/WRC rear spoiler. Has anyone had experince of DRM, e.g. is their paintwork any good?

Your thoughts and advise please...

Ta

Molds

Hello Mold

your car has the facelift bonnet, Grill and Headlights so you need a Grill from 97/8 onwards.

Anything upto 96/early 97 had a different bonnet with small vents.

The pic of White car has the same bonnet and lights as yours so i would best go with that one.

DRM sounds a good price but i reckon its for the earlier model. I have never used DRM so dont know what paints are like.

Remove your present grille. Remove the badge by cutting it out with a hacksaw. Fit mesh bought at carshop, or Halfords, (decent quality, choice of colours, about £12 a large piece).

Mesh can be cut to shape with kitchen scissors, and fitted using small black zip-ties through the OE diamond shapes left after removing the badge. Invisible except from VERY close to.

Save you a bit of dosh for about an hour's work

Alcazar

Here's one I meshed earlier, still got the badge though plus another one: I'm PROUD mine's a Scoob
