Carbon fibre mud flaps
Anyone seen/bought these?
Just after some thoughts, im concerned what black flaps look like on a blue car if anyone has photos
Also concerned how likely they would shatter
Scott Lowe Ltd
Thanks

I was up at Scott's not long back and had a look whilst I was there. They look top quality and are as felxible as the normal poly ones. Thinking back I can't remember how Scott explained them to me but they are made with real carbon fibre.
Would have been interested in these myself had I not just shelled out for the Prodrive ones and can't justify buying these as well.
If you don't get many replies give Scott a call. I have bought a few bits and bobs off him and he is a top bloke with great service.
Cheers
Richard

Thanks for that.
I have already emailed off the site for some more info. I really am after ones with prodrive written on them!
How much were yours? and how you think they compare to the carbon ones, would you swap if you could?
Thanks!

Hi mate,
Probably going to get shot down in flames but I wouldn't buy blue Prodrive flaps if I had my time again. Doddle to fit, the Subaru garage is very local and great quality out of the box....BUT they fade unfortunately. You probably wouldn't notice unless you compare to a brand new set or see some of the mud flap that has been covered by the fixing. Within the instruction leaflet they do however state that they are likely to fade so I guess you can't say you haven't been warned.
If you are looking at the black Prodrive ones I am not sure whether they would fade though.
Scott I am pretty sure guarantees his against fading as they are treated somehow??? think he guarantees them for life but please don't quote me on that.
I am in SIDC and my Subaru garage gave me 10% discount off the Prodrive flaps but I think they were still around £180.
Think it really does depend on how much you want to pay really but I would go for the carbon ones if I were you, having seen them in the flesh they look the dogs. And Scott I am pretty certain can put any logo you want on them if you want a logo. Give him a call on Monday.
By the way only had the Prodrive ones just over a year.
