Paint codes - replacement door from MY96 onto MY00
I have seen a replacements rear driver side passenger door from a MY96 model impreza (uk) which I think is paint code 56b light green. However I own a uk MY00 in mica green, 64c.
I wanted to know for definate if the paint is different or the same but just re-numbered to 64c in the 99-00 UK models?
From the pics it looks like the same colour but without mounting the door and checking it against the rest of the body I cant think of a way of knowing.
By the way the reason for the replacement door is because some trollop at the gym put a massive dent in the door, warping the metal resulting in the need for a new door!

Don't THINK it'll be the same, else why have two codes?
You could try asking an automotive paint supplier, www.yell.com will find one for you.

Hi, even if it is the same colour the surrounding areas will have to be blended in as weather conditions amongst other things play a big part in fading colours.
