Green car and black hood, anyone?
Does anyone have a picture of a green classic with a black hood? Doesn't matter if it's a carbon hood or not, I'm interested to see how you have coloured the grill....
I have a n/a hood on my MY98, and it's going to be painted black, a bit unsure about the grill (orciari)... If I make the grill completely black, then it might look a bit strange, or maybe not !? Maybe paint the FMIC black and insert a black mesh in front of it as well? Also thinking of leaving the mesh in the foglight covers black.
That Prodrive wing has to go, the trunk will be replaced by a black one without any wing.
Need to let the painter know today, so COMMENTS PLEASE !

Go for it and be differnet!
Should look ok, high gloss or satin black finish on the bonnet and boot lid?
I'd go for satin/matt finish for the street racer style.
Paint the grill and spot covers black also.

The colour will be "Obsidian Black Pearl", that's Subaru colour code 32J, as on the MY06 Forester XT.
I decided to have the complete grill and the mesh of the foglight covers painted black as well. Not sure about the cooler yet...

Ok, now it's done....
The trunk is not yet ready, so I won't post any pictures of the rear, but here's some taken from the front of the car.
