Default i failed my MOT!!

for the past 2 MOT's i have had yellow sidelights and a solid black sunstrip on the window screen, but today it failed on both these points

the garage is changing the bulbs and removing the black strip so it will pass. i knew the visor was illegal but i couldnt be bothered to remove it before but i am supprised about my yello bulbs as imports have these, and as it has passed twice before i thought these were ok.....anyone?

when i put my new translucent visor on i will do it right and not put it on the outside this time

The wifes car failed for having a magic tree air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror...they failed it....then removed the air freshener...then passed it.

When I picked the car up the guy on the desk said don't worry we didn't charge for removing the air freshener....wtf

As soon as i got back in to the car...i replaced the air freshener and drove off shaking my head...and no I wont be returning to that garage again!!!!!

Default **** m.o.t testers

The same thing happened to me and a mate, I had a sun strip and the dude told me cos if went over the wiper area its a fail.

And the BEST one was my mate put his V6 in for an m.o.t and the rusty tea towel holder failed it cos he had a magic tree hanging from his rear view mirror, He said it obstructed the drivers vision tosser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
