Opinions on carbon fibre ????
Hi,
I want to gauge reaction from fellow scoobynetters on their views on carbon fibre.
I am soon to get my next scoob and will be getting a white classic (hopefully) anyway I like the look of C/F bonnets and boots and would be thinking of putting a bonnet and boot and spoiler on it and leave it in the C/F finish.
I like the look, but I don't want to appear chavvy, and regret it later so any views are welcome.
P.S. If anyone has done it and have pics then please post them up.
Cheers
David

Personaly I do not like the look of carbon fibre on a painted car. It makes it look like the old Sierras/Cavaliers/(insert old banger here) etc that have been fixed and not repainted.
I think if a car is painted a certain colour it should stay a certain colour, if I ever manage to get a carbon fibre bonnet it will definately be painted the same colour as the rest of the car.
Just my opinion. But the choice is yours M8.

Depends what look you are going for I suppose but I think it can make the car look much more agressive. Here's mine - C/F splitter, grill surround, spoiler and door pillars - C/F scoop and mirrors on tomorrow !

yes, but there's a BIG difference between that and a Scoob with just some carbon bits stuck on.
Personally it's OK on a dark car, otherwise I'd have it painted.

I think if it is kept as part of a theme, then its ok. Dark wheels, carbon bonnet, spoiler, lowered=mean as f**k
Saying that, I also like unmolested scoobys
