Lightbulb V6 Rear Spoiler.....

I had a quote from an aftermarket tuner to supply and fit one for £540.

I think the money is too much so I would really appreciate if anyone who has fitted one for less money, could help me.

You help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Try DR motorsport mate. £350 Painted. Many on here will attest to the quality. A bodyshop will be able to attach it for you, which shouldn't cost more than 100 quid, that's at the very worst! Hey presto, min £90 saving.

Merry Xmas!

Or fit it yourself with a couple of mates to steady it, for about £6 for some Puri-Flex

Saving is now nearer £200

Alcazar, You're clearly a much braver man than me! :-)

The V5 and V6 Spoilers can sometimes need extra holes drilling to make sure they are a flush fit against the boot. Again, something you could do yourself, depends how steady your hands and nerves are....and how much you trust your mates !! :-)

Best.

Got mine from GradeA, it was a superb fit, I'd recommend them any time.

It fit using the three existing bolts each side, and some Puri-Flex to seal around it, and seal the bolt holes and the wiring hole.

The two mates were to hold it in place while I put the bolts in.

The bloke who sprayed it reckons I could take all the bolts OUT now and it won't come off!

About an hour's careful job, 10 minutes for the mates.

you cant really **** up the holes, as any mistakes are coverd by a big fapin spoiler anyway?

ive seen a pretty shoddy v6 copy, all wavey and bent, which is a shame, as i will need one when i buy my v6 front spoiler and if its crap i dont want one

I can personally vouch for the ones from GradeA, £305 delivered, but not sprayed. (Rear spoiler)

Alcazar
no doubt about it mate. i had a cheapy V5 fitted with sikaflex and getting it off to put on my cheapy V6 resulted in the old spoiler ending up in 3 pieces with an awful lot of it still stuck to the boot

word of advice, go for the best quality you can get and going from the above compliments, i'd go for one of the ones mentioned coz once it's on, it really is on for good.
