Default What colour should I paint (Blank under clear indicator)?

I'm after some opinions of what I should do with the orange blank under the front indicator when I replace with a clear unit.

What colour should I paint it? (Black or White)

Got any pics you can post of this done already?

My car

Thanks

Halfords can do you a tin of your own colour

Incidentally - the wedges are actually black, apparently if you leave them in thinners overnight all the orange will have come off.

Left mine in thinners overnight and with a nail brush rubbed off the orange paint. Bare in mind you will probably have to recoat them if colour coding due to stone chips, i just left mine black and tbh cant tell the difference with mine being a dark colour.

On yours tho I would colour code.

Use a screwdriver and pop them out, there are 4 pretty flexible clips that should not break! Didn't have a problem in getting them out.

Personnally wouldn't recommend using thinners or such like! Found that the time needed to make the paint thin enough to scrap off made the plastic part a little more flexible than originally intended - I also wasn't happy with the finish it left!

Not bothered as I thought this may happen but wanted to give it a go anyway, trial and error, so I'm now looking for a couple of cheap black wedges to replace!
