Question Fitting flaps

I'll be fitting my rally style flaps over the next couple of days and was wondering how easy is access to the area behind the front wheel arch lining on an MY03 WRX. A friend who has fitted his has expressed some concern. I will be fitting using these bolts.....

.....with nylon washers and stainless nuts. My flaps didn't come with a fitting kit as they were a favour from someone
