I saw those too a few weeks back, but didn't contact them for details. Possible group buy to save on carriage charges?

I ordered mine by Ravspec on Monday and the Spoiler is already on the way via BAX Global airfright to me (Austria). Shipping costs only 100 Dollar. But i have to pick it up at the airport.
It is an OEM one so you don't get a drilling template and installation instructions. At the moment I'm searching such a template, but it seems that noone can supply it.

As said before try DRmotorsport.
Daniel a friend of me bought recently a STI8 spoiler for his STI02 from local Subaru dealer and it had fitting instructions along with drilling diagramm if that helps!

We can get the Genuine Subaru STi 8 rear spoilers and also import a very good replica.

Drop me an e-mail and I'll send you some pictures.

We've got a new web-site due in a few days with all the new photos.

I have no holes in the boot. It's the first spoiler, which will be mounted. Maybe Jim can help. But thanks so far!

WRX Driver..
Do you know of anyone with an sti8 that would be willing to take the wing off in order to mark a template out against the boot ? or has your dealer got a sti8 boot in stock you could use that maybe to mark a template off, another way is to get some coragated cardboard..... stand the spoiler on it press down and the bolts should press in it and mark out nicely, then drill them out and line it up against the 4 holes you have in your boot.

I had bad fitting problems with the high level one that came fitted on my sport, i then got a second one ( the same type )
under warranty that was as bad....... then i managed to get an sti8 one to fit but the dealer could not locate a template anywhere, i was told they do not make them as sti8 boots come pre drilled where as wrx boots only have the 4 standard holes in them, we looked at making a template and drilling the boot but the dealer was told they could not as it would break my paintwork warranty......... we then settled on a UK300 spoiler which i am really pleased with.

Hope that helps
Simon

Contacted Ravspec this eve and received fast response. Quoted $650 incl carriage to pick up at airport or $720 delivered to your door.

Just trying to work out fitting details.

Exclamation

The Price is true! It's an original STI 8 Spoiler, comes painted in a original Subaru box. The only problem is, that you do not get a template and installing instructions, which you need to be able do fit the spoiler. But you can get the template and instructions from me.

I think the spoiler fron upauto is a replica, which comes unpainted.

Hi WRX - Driver, do you think if I email you my details do you think you could send me a copy of template and instructions?

and

RigPig glad to hear you ordered yours. I found RavSpec fast and efficient with enquiries. Hopefully the purchase transaction is equally as good!

Let me know how you get on.

Jo

I have been following this thread with intrest, as looking at buying one of these myself. Has anyone actually fitted one yet?
Also one of you mentioned template and instructions - if possible can you mail these to me also.

Additionally I notice they are selling STI8 fog lamp covers for a very reasonabnle £55 - do any of you know if these will fit straight onto a WRX?

Cheers.

The STI8 foglight covers will fit straight on to a WRX03 once you remove the original foglight surround. Don't buy these from Ravspec, you can get them from any Subaru dealer in the UK for about £30.00 each. I've already done this, if you do a search you'll find plenty of info.

Thanks for this Andy.
I did the search and found what I was after. Also managed to track down another question I have been asking, regarding the twin headlight conversion for the MY03.
Looks very tasty!

Twohats,
It's not the airport that has charged you its good old "Gordon Brown", aka, VAT man,
I was in for one of these spoilers until I found out about the taxes,
Theiving barstewards, have to agree on that!
