Question big flaps on otherwise standard my03 wrx?

Will it look naff?

Does anyone have a picture of a bodyworkwise standard blue WRX with blue flaps?

Problem is, I think it might look naff with the standard spoiler on the WRX but I really want flaps big enough to take some gravel driving etc

Wife won't allow a big spoiler unfortunately

I have a classic WRX with rally style mudflaps. We made the mud flaps ourselves as we didn't want to pay £150 for scooby ones. Only got a standard low spoiler as there are more important things to do to it first before getting one and I am also trying to get a 2nd hand one

Can post a pic up when I get home from work so you can see.

That looks really, really good. Problem is it's an STI with the side skirts painted and the nice spoiler...

I have a standard WRX 03 with either of those above, but I really want some flaps to stop all those pebbles and the gravel

If your handy, Demon Tweeks/Unicar sell Sparco cut your own mudflaps. They come as a rectangle of the Kaylan material and you cut to shape and fit however you want. Might be good if someone would let you use their proper ones as a template but at £15 a pair you can't grumble compared to the ridiculous prices many charge.

The £15 a pair stuff certainly isnt Kaylan (polyurethane), its just PVC. Not to be confused!

Nope, haven't got any flaps yet... still looking for a picture, but I think that like you i'd have to paint the side skirts first, because otherwise it probably will look a bit funny..
