I think they are different sizes on the classic. Try measuring them to be sure though

If you are talking about Classic shape Impreza`s then have tried the rear door handles into the front of my Two door impreza as it would be a great way of delocking the car and guess what they dont bloody fit.

Not only are they the wrong size, but they are also the wrong shape.

However if you are looking to delock the car, it's quite easy to do. Just take the interiors off, and remove the lock mechanism from the handle, then pop the handle out, take it down to your favourity body shop, get them to sand the handle down, fill up the hole with an industrial bonder, sand smooth, respray handle, and install back into the door. Hey presto, no more locks.

aaaaahhhhhhhhh bollox !! lol @ least i never shelled out for a new set of rear handles like i was gonna just that japspares had run out !! tf !! lol
