Is it difficult to get the sideskirts and rear bumper trims colour coded? Iv'e just had a garage take a look and he seems to think it will cost me around £300-£400!!

I would also like the handles colour coded to. Has anyone else had this done and how much did it cost you?

I have a MY 94 Wrx in Silver.

300-400 is a rip m8. You can easy get them done for less than 200. I did. Take them off your self (easy).

Thumbs up

Agree with Nick200, if you have a garage, take the bits off yourself, and take them to a good sprayer for painting.

Make sure your sprayer will prime with plastic primer!!
I got mine done 3 years ago for about £120.(Door handles, mirrors, skirts etc.)

just done mine myself with halfords paint. So far it seems fine the rear bumper trims are a pain to remove because you need to remove the bumper to get to the screws. I have mudflaps on my car which will also protect the paint on the skirts. Not sure about doing the handles as they would need to be very hard wearing. I think the key to painting the skirts was to get them really clean with meths first to remove the silicon.

I have some pics if you want mail me cause I can't post them without hosting I belive.

Oh and the cost 1 tin of plastic primer 5 pounds, 1 lacquer and one colour, mixed at Halford, total cost about 20 pounds.

Thanks

Remove bumper? was that on a classic? You should just undo 2 bolts then slide them over its really easy.

I only know this because I actually cut the bolts of the first time I did it only to then realise that the bloody things slide off!!!
