Is this an easy job I can do myself?... Or am I better taking it to a spray shop and getting them to do it properly?...

I've got a red my98 impreza and think the sills and wing mirrors need to be colour coded.

any thoughts / ideas / suggestions?...

Matt.

Kinda depends how good you are with a spray gun and if you have the set up to do a decent spray job (clean, dust free conditions). If not, personally I wouldn't risk it or it will look a right dogs dinner

If so, can you recommend anyone in the Middlesbrough area?....

I need a decent spray shop that I can trust not to abuse my car!

dont do it your self. get it done by the pros. use insurance approved if you can and don't accept it unless its 100%. don't use halfords paint. dont get me started on that again.

Thumbs up

You CAN save a bit if you have a garage, by taking off the bits to be sprayed, then refitting them yourself.

I got door habndles, mirrors, and 6 bits of skirt sprayed about 2 years ago for £120.

DO use a reputable sprayer.
DO make sure they use special undercoat for plastic.

Thats a damn good idea taking the bits of yourself - I'll definately do that - might have to borrow a car for a few days while they spray them as I don't think driving about with no door handles or wing mirrors is really an option!... Matt.
