Just wondered because ive got my new P1 front end arriving tomorrow and i want to fit it asap.Whats involved and whats the sort of time scale and most importantly is it an easy enough job

take your old one off ,(is new one painted)put new one on 45>60mins ,think you've put this on as just to let people know your getting p1 bumper,,WHOOP DI DO,,,just the same as 99>00 normal scoob

Thank you for you pointless comments moron.It was a genuine question as ive never done it before.So has anyone done this before and are there any obstacles i might encounter.No more childish remarks people.

takes time mate did mine and took about 3-4 hrs with a person who was clued up.there nuts and clips everywhere you will be amazed how many you find.

seriously start early to avoid it getting dark and then you start losing stuff

theres a few tricky ones in the wheel arches also your headlights will need aligning cause they go out.

just hope your a patient person

the topic say's "fit new bumper" don't need to change headlight's for that?? i'm no moron least i can change a bumper,the only way to find out is to do it

DJ73 Still i suppose bumpers are easy to fit on Novas

Some instructions from greasemonkey here.

FWIW, when my bodyshop put my 99/00 bumper on they had to take the lights out in order to get at some of the bumper securing bolts/nuts/fasteners.

yeah i would agree with cat start early with the nights getting dark quicker, but its pretty straight forward,
unless your in a cramped space, and you start kicking the small clips and nuts about

BTW i've seen DJs cars i wouldn't mind a nova RS200

Thanks for the input guys all done now took about 4 hours coz i was crap and lost some of the bolts but its all back on now and looking good
