Hi, after finding out I needed to replace my P1 front bumper, I was quoted £145 for the bumper and £295!!! for the front lip spoiler on the P1 (All + VAT) by my Subaru dealer.

I had a hunt round and found DR Motorsport selling them for £220 inc VAT (£300 painted)

After a little work, I traced who is probably their supplier - a guy called Abu - tel # 0781 353 6166. He supplies full copies (identical to original) for £150 inc. shipping....

He also advertises on Ebay.

abu's splitter may look like a orginal but his toe-eye cover doesn't come off(moulded in as one)so,to me not a true replica of the original,as like the ets racing one.

Wink

Ahh - this is the DWMotorsport one. Screw paying £220 for it.

I will live with the toe eye cover not coming off for £70 less. (But thanks for the info.)

In fact thats better coz it wont get dislodged, and my car is never going to be towed by a rope lol. If I ever needed a tow I will use the Subaru breakdown cover and get it done properly on a tow truck.

On checking - it Does have a removable toe eye cover, so it is an exact copy.

See http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2444938074&category=10 424

"Subaru Impreza P1 Front Lip - This is only obtainable normally from Subaru if you have a P1 Chassis number in a price region of £500 - This may I mention is NOT P1 'Style' (like others) it is in fact the ORIGINAL design, no chopping or changing and the tow eye cover is removable and an exact of the ORIGINAL - The whole splitter is as the Original"

is this abu dabu a pal of yours it sounds like you are just trying to plug his parts,
i used ask the seller to ask about his three piece splitter but i was put off because someone one scoobynet (money i think) said there was a dodgy three piece in fibre glass going around and he's the only one i've seen selling them,

ABU does NOT make parts for us.

Some of our parts are from Derek at ETS.
And as everyone on here knows, his parts are regarded as the best about.

Baron - not via the tow eye. Thats for car - car toes. Tow trucks never use those to lift cars, or to get them onto the truck.

richto, that's what the toe-eye's for, either getting towed or being recovered yourself, where else would you put the hook off the recovery winch??????,,not all recovery truck's "lift"(crane) car's except when you can't winch them up(e.g severe crash damage) ,,on the ETS site i think it's DRM not DWS

richto you posted to let everyone know about the p1s which is what the forum is about but you deliberatly mistype DRM and you keep trying to plug your mates p1,
DRM, D R M, D first then R then M
