Just a cautionary note that'll hopefully prevent this from being locked
- please avoid any reference to Prodrive or SWRT graphics on this thread, as Prodrive protect their trademarks and copyrights.
Carry on folks - hope you understand why I'm posting this given the recent issues.

Me dont think he was refering to "PRODRIVE" stickers mate so please let one roll.......
Oh yeah Extreme motorsport do em mate there about £50 for two large sets or pop to your nearest ripspeed halfords they do some sort of mailorder thing for em.(and not one prodrive sticker in sight)

everything seems to be working better regarding graphics chiark,
can you let us know exactly what prodrive have a copyright to? as sonic said
it would be helpful to know everything they are going to kick up a fuss about in advance

Prodrive have copyrights on the SRWT graphics, yes. As an aside, they are also assigned to protect the STI brand over here.
With respect to not having stickers even if you have their parts, please don't shoot me! Prodrive have requested repeatedly that we remove anything that infringes their rights, and if they make the request that is justified then we act. Simple as that.
Hope this clarifies things somewhat. Again, I can't comment on prodrive's approach or stance so if you want clarification mail them and ask

Just use common sense, that's all...
The policy is simple - if something is a blatant abuse of a copyrighted item then the moderators may act if we see it. We will act if the injured party reports it.
If something's less obvious then it's up to the injured party to persuade us that something is wrong by reporting it to the moderators.
The reason for me posting on this is because in the past prodrive have complained about sponsor graphics threads, that's all.

If you want to debate the fine points of everything then this will get boring. Hey, I'm very bored of all this already .
Prodrive claim copyright on their work. You do not need to have a copyright symbol next to anything in UK law; as soon as you create an original work you are entitled to protection as I understand it.
I am not going to debate copyright law, or trademark law. I do not know or care nearly enough about either subject.
What I can say is that Scoobynet now has a clear policy on this. Prodrive have complained about infringements of their copyright, and we have acted on this. We will continue to act on it when it is sensible to do so and not just for Prodrive.
If you have a problem with this, please drop me a mail because I will not get into debate about this.
