I have a 22B/WRC type spioler but it isn't secured very well. The previous owner has only bonded the side pillars to the boot lid ( It's a 4 piece spoiler )and not the centre section. He has also bolted the spoiler to the boot lid but the centre section is now starting to lift due to no adhesive. How can I remove the spoiler from the boot lid so I re attach it? obviously the bolts are no probs to remove, it is the glue that is the problem.

Cheers

Steve.

any idea what type of glue/adhesive it was?

try heating it with a heat gun or hair dryer...
warm it up good...
hopefully it will loosen and you'll be able to
then lift the spoiler off....

use goo gone or adhesive remover to get rid
of excess gunk left over.

good luck

You can also try boiling the kettle and pouring hot water on the adhesive this will also help to melt it a little..... if you can feed some strong fishing line under the spoiler you can use it as a saw with back and fore motion to cut through the adeshive.
