Thumbs up

I am looking for anyone who can recommend a good car painter in the South Essex area.

I want to get the side skirts etc. colour coded on a classic scoob MY99 and look at the possibility of hiding/fixing some nasty stone chips on the bonnet.

Any ideas?

Any indication of what sort of cost I would/should be looking at for the colour coding etc. would be nice too

Thanks in advance for any help.

Unhappy

Okay....forget the South Essex bit and the recommendations.

Can ANYONE give me an idea of how much the colour coding is likely to cost?

Why dont you have a go at colour coding the skirts yourself.
I did my own about 6 months ago and it wasnt a difficult job.
The skirts are only bolted on underneath.
Once they are off, give them a real good wash down and then wipe
them down with thinners to get off the last of any old polish.
Give them a rub down with wet and dry to give a key.
Give loads of fine coats of plastic primer.
Then give loads of coats of your top coat
You can get the paint made up at your local halfords.
Its worth a go.
You have got nothing to loose.

And when you look at the finished job, you can think I did that

hmmm...interesting thought.

I haven't tried alot of automotive parts painting....not sure I trust myself to not f**k it up.

Thanks for the idea though....if I get really desperate I might give it a go.
