Well guys, I was sick of waiting for the classic shape mudflaps as poor old Megabusa is a bit busy.....so I designed my own, what do you think ?

The reason I ask is that if there is interest then I'll knock them up, cut & drilled and all the associated brackets and fixings for the neglected classic scooby for under a ton including postage. You can add your own STi stickers.....

They are NOT STi copies, I made them to my own patterns and not to the Ravensblade/scoobymods patterns. They only need small rear brackets and no front brackets as they are not quite as wide at the front as the STi ones.

Also only one hole needs to be drilled at the rear in the inner wing next to the hole that is already there, and one hole in the front wing plastic cover, so can be fitted in next to no time.

also some more pics are on this thread:

Red face

All for under a ton,i know people will pay for ease of supply and all that but you can buy the same flaps from Jap-Innovations
for £30 for all 4 and in 3 different colours and then just cut them yourself.

It took me 10 minutes to cut and fit each one on an MY01 and they look great.

Just my opinion of course.

I hope i didnt cause offence Dan, they do look good though, i made mine the same size but reduced them after 1 week as they were too in your face on my car.
I put the same colour blue on a Silver car which is different but they do look slightly better, smaller.

I also added Prodrive stickers instead of the sparco ones they came with which improved them no end.

Excuse me BUT I was on megabusas 13 page waiting list ages ago (June last year) and they were £125 AND so far not available for the classic......

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadID=108750

Anyway Edited to say no offence taken, but as as far as I know there was no-one on scoobynet offering pre cut & drilled flaps with brackets & full fitting kits for the classic for under a ton. I am aware that directcarparts sell the flap material sheets, they still need work doing, and thats what I was considering doing (the work).
I said under a ton, no idea exactly as I would have to price the fitting kits so no biting my head off please and I'm only trying to help save money, the genuine STi ones are £340+

Hi Dan, those are cracking looking flaps mate, job well done i say, i might be interested in a set if you could give an exact price. The other thing is can you do them in DBM or does the material only come in that colour, i guess if you sprayed them the paint would wear off before long.

Defo interested when i get a bit of spare cash though.

Cheers James.

If you aren't going to produce them, any chance on letting us in on the specs for the bracket used on the back. I'm not very practically-minded

Hi Dan,

Might be worht getting in touch with Kay Dee, Megabusa used them for his Kaylan polyurethane- could work out cheaper

http://www.kay-dee.co.uk/

There must be someone with classic STI flaps thats willing to take them off & draw round them ...or are they too scared of the pi$$ taking £340 FFS!

& is this the same Dan who bought my ST2's? (apologies if not)
