Cool

Have a MY00 Wagon.
Has anyone taken the protection strips off the doors,if so,are they just stuck on??,and how did you remove them??.
Dont fancy re-spraying the doors.
Think the Wagons look much better without them.

All advise appreciated!!!

Dave

I put them on mine, I was fed up with calling dentwizard out every few weeks, believe me they may not be that nice looking but they will stop you involuntarily altaring the look of your car if you see what I mean

Thumbs up

Yep, cost £50 from a dealer. You can go the cheap route and buy some Mondeo ones as the lengths are the same...

One word though - when you apply them, make sure you use a heat gun to warm the metal before sticking them on - it takes time, but it's worth it.

I have never had any dents since putting them on.

It's so gutting to see those dents in the side of your car mate.
It does not matter how far away from any other car you park - some old git in a very tatty escort always parks 2 inches from you car and smacks his door into the side of your pride and joy. Realising that he cant get out of his car he moves slightly further away and again smacks your car as he tries to get out and squeezes himself through the gap pushing his door into the side of your car as hard as he can and then just as he walks away he looks back and shakes his head in wonder of the fact that your car was there when quite clearly in his world it should not have been!!!!!! - Sorry, got carried away there.

No, leave em on
