They are £450 brand new (not painted). Bloody rare to find a second hand one and when you do, they go for about £400 as they are painted

You don't need it mate!

Anyhow, carbon fibre is an option too, now...

siwrx, that is bloody cheap! Who was that with? I shopped about in the US but they were all silly prices. Then by the time i paid for the bonnet, they wanted stupid money for shipping and then pay vat and import costs on that!

And then i found out they were carbon sheets

You got the site mate? Ive ordered mine so its a bit late but it will be interesting to see

i assume ur coming to the works on sat anyway m8 so will get Dawn to introduce us and we can chat bout it then m8. My m8 works for fedex so all shipping i get stupidly cheap, the bonnet was 200 quid trade from this company and is apparently pure carbon fibre (aint seen it in flesh so dont know.) Gotta work out what itll be with tax, shipping etc, but i reckon theyll be **** loads cheaper than the 600 odd quid companies over here charge. I reckon my old ally bonnet will raise enough to pay for the carbon no probs.

Now im looking into carbon bootlids too, saw a pic of a car with one and it looks the ****

Is it this sat mate?

Sounds like you got a good deal. £600 is good if you can find a company in the UK. I emailed Norris Designs and they quoted me £1000!!!!!!!!

Have to say i dont like the boot lid but it may look better in the flesh.

Dunno, but I do know the difference is using one complete hand for one, and your little finger for the other to lift them up

u can get ally bonnets ordered from dealers, breakers etc etc

Money the carbon bonnets on scoobynet shop are around 600 but this one i found is like 300 in the country, they weigh nothing so my m8 can ship them with his fedex account, he gets about 80% off due to being senior management
