Ok got some STI fog covers to go on MY00, now it doesnt seem possible to use the bracket that comes with the covers, is there an easy way to fix them on or would it just be easier to remove the fog lights and then fix them in?????

My old MY99, I had 'proper' STI fog covers and with the mounting kit on, it would fit over my foglights with no issues!

You have to take off the clear foglight protectors if you still have those on!

I hope this helps

Are you sure the bracket is fitted correctly?

It took a bit of mucking about until it fitted properly! As I don't read Japanese, the STI instructions for the brackets were next to useless, and the diagrams weren't much better!

The fog covers are genuine STI covers, which I bought from a fellow Scoobynetter!

I have since bought a MY00 and again I have the genuine STI bracket kit and some fog covers from a P1 (so genuine STI again)

I will try them out and let you know!

Thanks
Andy

the brckaets came in seperate packets, they are black with a little washer and a anodised allen key screw all wrapped up in a Subaru Heavy Industries bag each, no instructions though, the covers were from TSL as well

Not yet, but I'm due a half day today, but I don't know if it's going to happen now!

I need to get down to the local DVLA office to sort out a personal number plate, but after that I should get a chance to have a look!

I'll dig out the digital camera as well!

Just take the fog lights out mate it is a lot easier. Thats what I did and it's not like you can use the fog lights with the STI covers on them anyway is it
