Cleaning the Scoob
#1
Hello,
I spend more time washing my MY00 turbo than I do driving the thing, once clean from a few feet away it looks gleeming and really looks a treat. HOWEVER when you get close to the paint work other than just the normal stone chips there looks like little bits of grime and little blops of oil and what some kind of paint or varnish!!! Im probably making it sound worse than it is but you know when you get annoyed you exagerrate things.
Anyway no matter how hard I try to get these off with normal sponge and shampoo it just will not budge, with it being the sonic blue colour its fairly light colour and so the marks are visible whereas they may not be on DBM.
Can any one advise on a particular shampoo which may help to break down such stains and/or a special cloth of somesort which may be a bit more use on removing these marks. They really are doing my head in, you know when you feel like your cars filthy even though everyone else may think it looks clean as possible.
Please help!
Cheers
Chris

I once had this all over a car of mine, i tried tar remover but was a lot of effort, then had a brain wave and tried WD40, spray it on leave for 1 minute then wipe off with a soft cloth.
works wonders, you may wish to wash the car after the WD40 as leaves grease on your paintwork!
