Wheel considerations
#1
I've got a 99 UK Turbo in Royal silver, the tyres are on thier way out so I'm considering a complete wheel and tyre package.
Since they are expensive items I want to get it right first time.
So what size wheels fit well, can I run 18" wheels with low profile tyres without any rubbing or anything? If not then I take it 17's are the norm?
I want to keep the speedo reading correct speed for obvious reasons and i'm looking at OZ Super L's at the moment, any suggestions / pics?

Yeah you can get 18s on no problem - although only certain types of wheel will go on and not rub - due to offset. If you go for 18s, you will need low profile tyres. Don't worry about speedo - make wheel bigger and tyre thinner - that way rolling radius stays roughly the same and speedo stays accurate.
IMHO good people to talk to about wheel / tyre packages are Revolution.

Dunc20, I have had a look around, and Super L's look the best hence I want them, and hence why lots of subaru owners want them
I did find some which looked nice but they transformed the car from a smooth cruiser to a pimp mobile! you know, the ones I mean!
