Instructions for DIY wheel painting....
#1
...A few months ago I remember someone posted up some really good instructions on how to do a DIY paint job on painting alloys.
I've tried the search functions, but cannot find. Anyone have a copy (or care to repost)?

Nitromors or any serious hard core pain stripper, then clean very well, undercoat (lots) lots of surface coats, and they may come out like mine

I'm going to remove the wheels, but not the tyres. When using paint stripper, obviously dont want it to touch the tyres - whats the best way to sheild the tyres - masking tape?
How many coats did you use? Is it better to use a spray can or a paint brush? I was thinking of using hammerite - apparently very strong paint...
