i dunno which one to buy for my MY99 turbo 2000. The one from MRO looks good, and cheap too, but any one got any more pics of this please, along with any other ones people rate.

cheers

Cool

...or this one:

Pro Sport £85ish, but getting it fitted properly (blended in to the original bumper) and sprayed costs the money!

P1 splitter looks real nice, how hard is it to get hold of, will subaru UK have them or will they charge me stupid money, is it easy to fit??

Only thing i am worried about with non subaru made splitters is getting it to fit properly, MRO reckon theres fits straight on with no gaps, any people with MRO splitter had any probs or is it easy

P1 splitter is stupid money from subaru if i remember correctly...

Another splitter which i think looks very good is the STI-6 splitter from subaru genuine item is only about £100.... found here for £111 + delivery www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/classic.html and will fit perfectly, if you get the part number you can get it from your local scooby dealer for alot cheaper.

See here for the STI-6 splitter

how much lower does the sti6 spoiler sit, looks like 20 or 30mm.

MRO doesnt seem to be too popular on here, no ones made any comments about it, STI6 looks better, plus its genuine subaru.

My mates put a mro one on his looks nice, there is a slight gap but you could blend this in if you don't like it.
He did'nt because he was worried it may crack if he did, depends how good a job is done I suppose.
There is a pic under gallery 16th feb glos/worcestershire/cotswold meet
the only white one there.

OK P1 lip looks by far the best, MRO one looks a bit too chunky, and sti6 lip looks as if it sticks more forward than down, so scoobystan how much did it cost for you to get a copy made, i am gonna call my local scooby dealer and find out how much they will sell it for, unless anyone has any bright ideas of where to find one.

I have recently bought an STI V6 front lip for my MY99 and it's getting fitted 2moz! I was the same as yourself in not knowing which splitter to go for! If i could have got hold of a genuine P1 splitter for good money i would have defo got it, but they are sooo expensive! In my opinion alot of the 'after market' splitter are too chunky, they look good on foto's but different in real life (i originally purchased a bigger one but it looked very over sized).

Go for the STI V6, it's subtle and is a 'SUBARU' part so will hold the value of the car better! Thats what i reckon anyway!

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Dunc.

Hiya PPP', I have had the STI splitter fitted, no pics tho, but i am very happy with the result!- got it from TSL and it is a very good fit! It sits only about 1" lower than the bumper, but when lookin at the car head on it makes it look alot 'fuller'!- it's subtle but classy!

Regards,

Dunc.

Question

Does anyone have the Subaru part number for the P1 splitter?? My local dealer reckons there's no such thing as they can't find it on their computer!! (Duuurrrrrrr!!) The only one they can find is the STi one at £94 +vat.

Anyone know how much the genuine P1 one costs??

Have a look at the WRC splitter on TSL's site. Very similar to the P1 splitter.
