How do I fit side skirts?

Question

Just got some genuine side-skirts that i want to fit to my 96 STi. The bottom mounting are fine, but what do i have to do for the clips to fit in to?

If anyone has fitted these would apprecaite some advice,

Please answer him someone! I'd like to know how easy they are to remove cuz I want mine painted soon. Can't look at the mo cuz the weather is crap and I have no garage.

They screw from the bottom with just locating pins along the top of the skirt..... these WILL break when you take them off!!

However... i believe yours is an RA. So it will not have the holes for these locating pins. Guess for ease you could bond the skirt on or if your feeling brave you'd have to drill your sills. Think when i had mine colour coded there were 5 of these holes in each sill.

You dont have to break the locating pins, you push in the small pin in the middle of the clip amd then pull the clip out. before you put them back in push the pin through so it is sticking out. Once you have located the clip in the hole, push the pin in to lock it in place.

Can't post as RRH as have changed my email address and scoobynet haven't sent me a new password

I was going to butcher the sills, but can't find the black 'plugs' into which the pins fit. Any ideas?

The other suggestion sounds like it may be a better plan, ie. bond them. any ideas what with though?

The black plugs are about 15p-25p each from any main dealer.... that's where i got all mine from.

Don't do it simon!! RA's look much better without IMHO. If i could have taken them off mine i would of.
