What is the widest you can go on a standard subaru without having to do any arch work. What then would be the required tyre size. I am thinking of going for 19*8. Is that possible?

if you can get a wheel in the right offset you'll get em on. I've got 8x18's but they catch on the back with 215's, the reason being that they are 45mm offset and should be at least 48mm. I'm gonna roll the arches but it's nothing major they look 'fat' as you say which is why I wanted them
