DIY-window tinting?

Has anyone done a DIY window tinting-is it worth it-is it more hassle then its worth-if u have done can u give me any hints or tips-just thinking about doing mine and im honest im a skinflint so im trying to save a few bob-so any hints welcome

Mate,
I've done a few cars in me time and the key has to be preparation. If you are a bit impatient (scoob driver ?) then dinnae bother. for £200 or so you can have a grade A job with none of the hassle (Basically it took me 1-2 cars to get good and at the end of the day you don't want to look like one of the corsa brigade !)---and the experts use differing films to that available to the regular punter on the street...put it this way, I could tint just about anything (and very well), but I would still leave the hassle to a bloke that is doing it day in day out...
