Default Front splitter issue

Hi guys

I fitted a front splitter to my car and now it has cracked my front bumper.

This is when I go over a road with a decline, the front of the car can scrape now and again, how do you all combat this?

Here is a couple of pics.

Yeah, think I will remove the front splitter for now and then get the bumper repaired.

Got to say you're doing well to damage the bumper like that and not rip the splitter off or break the splitter.

I have destroyed 2 splitters, one on a speed ramp the other in snow when it worked like a plough until it was pushed back under the car.

Neither of the above caused any damage to the bumper

What he said, normally the splitters break way before any damage the bumper!

Is it bolted on with metal fixings? Its a good idea to use plastic fixings (like Subaru do for so many things...) so that they break away first leaving the bumper undamaged. You don't want to be tugging the bumper off if the splitter catches the ground.

Looks like it's been professionally faired in?

Is the car on standard suspension? What splitter is it? Can you post a pic of how close to the ground?
