can you spilt blob rear spoiler

looks to be in 2 section the rear spoiler can you remove top from bottom and leave bottom on bootlid to paint.

Yup 3 bolts each side

lift the boot and you will see the cover plates for the bolts

yeah seen them , but is it well stuck together or will i damage paint at seam?
dont want to have to spray both bits. only a couple of small marks on top section on a car i have just bought,
