Fergie to retire at the end of the season
Sad day been a great time for Manchester United, David Moyes for the next manager? (or are we going to see the special one at Old Trafford? )

Gutted, Alex Ferguson has been the manager for as long as I have been a united supporter, wont be the same without him.
wouldnt be suprised if Murinio got the job.

Fergie taking a back seat....
Be interesting to see how it works IMHO.
Huge job with huge shoes to fill and an expectant fan base and management used to success.
Also top class players with new respect to be earned from...
Needs a big manager to cope with this, WHILST also having Fergie offering advice over your shoulder...
No one including me can doubt Fergies credentials but surely even Moyes would want to do things his own way, let alone the special one, should he be considered, so the position could easily become untenable very quickly should they not hit the ground running next season...
I wonder how long the board will stick with a new manager considering how long the original board gave Fergie when he started there?
If he gets a gold watch will there be 65 mins to the hour on it...
Mart.
